The Tom Kerridge homewares range is no ordinary celebrity chef range. But then again, Tom Kerridge is no ordinary chef.

From humble beginnings, he has risen to become one of the most recognised faces in the world of celebrity chefs. He is down-to-earth, accessible and exudes personality, a combination that has seen his career blossom over the last few of years. He cut his teeth working in Michelin starred restaurants before opening his own restaurant in 2005. ‘The Hand and Flowers’ has since become the only pub ever to be awarded 2 Michelin stars.

His TV career spans hosting the BBC’s ‘Food and Drink’, ‘Great British Menu’, ‘Bake Off: Crème de la Crème’ and ‘Saturday Kitchen’ along with stand-alone series ‘Proper Pub Food’ and ‘Best Ever Dishes’.

Talisman were appointed as Tom’s licensing agents in early 2015 and from the very beginning, we knew that working with Tom would be both exciting and demanding. He insists on the same exacting standards that he applies in his 2 Michelin starred kitchen to everything he does.

From the outset, the concept for Tom’s homewares range focussed on creating professional quality products; products that could stand their ground under the tough conditions of a professional kitchen whilst giving the domestic chef beautiful tools to cook with and present great dishes with at home.

“All of these products have been tested and are meant to be used rather than just looked at and stand the test of time. Think ‘Land Rover Defender’ for kitchens” – Tom Kerridge

Tom knew he wanted to work with British manufacturers. He wanted to marry his knowledge as a professional chef with the skills and experience of master crafts people and he wanted to discuss his ideas and learn about how to bring his ideas to life. Talisman appointed The Great British Exchange to source a team of UK manufacturers who could deliver the vision for this new range of British made products.

With knives from Sheffield, pans from Birmingham, textiles from Accrington, ceramics from Shrewsbury, enamel from Burnley and wooden items from London, Tom’s homewares range has brought together some of the UK’s master crafts people in one of the most exciting and innovative projects to ever hit the licensing industry.

Tom’s homewares range will be available through independent retailers and department stores from late 2016.

The brand identity for Tom’s new range was developed with the help of award winning brand consultancy, The Clearing. For more information on their work click here.
